Offploy prides itself on being a commercially responsible social enterprise. This means that whilst we are a community interest company and our sole purpose is to support people with convictions into employment we will do this with the lowest possible impact to the public purse. Our team ensures our activities continue to be of benefit to both our candidates and society.
Keds
Social Employment Advisor
I am thrilled to be a part of Team Offploy as a Social Employment Advisor. Through Lived Experience I was given this opportunity to support individuals who also have had experience in the CJS who that want support to get back on track. Having previously championed for youth offenders and care leavers in the CJS and my own experience I have been able to relate to my candidates gaining trust. The service that Offploy provide individuals has helped better me as a colleague and candidates who are referred to us.
Nominations for
Colleague of the Month
I’d like to nominate Keds. At comms day (aside from Heather my work mum and borderline unpaid counsellor 😉) Keds made me feel so welcome and so comfortable. She’s a great human who really made me feel like part of the team. She makes me laugh and I love her to bits. She’s been through a lot, and she is so strong, and incredible at her job.
My colleague of the month goes to Keds. She puts her heart and soul into what she does, and always goes beyond for her candidates, and I think she doesn’t realise how good she is at times, she is an absolute star!
I vote for Keds. Keds makes me laugh when I am having a bad day and is a good listener.
I nominate Keds for building great relationships with her candidates, the support that she provides, her dedication and eagerness to meet them face to face and for taking ownership for developing her skills and experience in planning and organisation. In addition, it has been great to see Keds get more involved across the organisation from within her own team to the EDI Committee through to sharing her own experiences externally to Offploy and providing positive feedback.
