I joined Offploy as a volunteer more than two years ago and was instantly impressed by its ethos.  I became part of the wider family as a Social Employment Advisor in 2021 and am constantly amazed at how the organisation helps and develops ex-offenders.

Colleague of the Month

I would like to nominate Simon because he goes above and beyond his role to get involved in a range of other initiatives that improve the organisation such as colleague wellbeing and professional development. This contribution is really appreciated.

Simon has pulled out all of the stops to support me with courses, so I have passed my 1st assignment. Thank you.

Please can I nominate Simon for colleague of the month, for the following reasons:

• Leading on the delivery of the Level 3 IAG programme which has been launched to great success with excellent colleague engagement

• Excellence in supporting candidates, receiving positive feedback, securing employment outcomes and being by his candidate’s side every step of the way

• Supporting the Maxtrix standards requirements for Offploy including the set up of the candidate forums

I nominate Simon. I don’t have the words to express my appreciation for you, the care that you show not only to your candidates but your colleagues is unmatched you are a real asset to Offploy, personally am more than happy to call you a friend. I really don’t know what Value to match it to but I nominate you.

This month I want to nominate Simon for always being helpful and supportive.

I nominate Simon. Simon has been doing excellent work covering a large caseload across two contracts in different areas. He is dedicated to his candidates and goes out of his way to try to find them the courses and support that they need. He has also been doing excellent work getting Offploy ready for its IAG Matrix Standard assessment. I can always rely on Simon to get a job done and it is much appreciated.

My nominee goes to Simon: He has a huge caseload, has been places candidates into work, passed his IAG whilst working, travelled to Kent and met the Advisors and candidates, whilst also working on, Justice Data Labs and always has time for others, well done Simon!!

I would like to nominate Simon for colleague of the month. Simon works tirelessly with such a wide range of candidates; he never fails to put his all into each and every one of them and still finds time to help me out if I need him. He truly is one in a million and I couldn’t do it without him!

I’ll nominate Simon.  Showing to be a good example of how to keep your composure when you have a high workload and lighting up everyone’s morning with your dry and sarcastic sense of humour.

I’d like to nominate Simon as he always offers support and advice, he will go out of his way to make sure you’re doing alright!

Simon continues to go above and beyond in his role and is always willing to lend a hand to anyone on the team to make sure the job gets done. He's an asset to the team and Offploy. Keep up the great work, Simon!

Simon has been such a great team member, always seeking to help others and contributing across a wide range of delivery at Offploy. From his superb support for candidates in Kent to his solid input to the IAG and Matrix standard application, he has been sensible, reliable and hard=-working. Simon you are a true superstar! Thank you!

I would like to nominate Simon’s commitment, knowledge and passion for the cause really shines through and his work around the Matrix and the presentation is first class.  In addition, he really helped me when I first joined Offploy by processing the food bank vouchers in a timely manner to help many rough sleepers and homeless people.   Furthermore, no matter how Busy he is, he always makes time to get back you quickly and efficiently. Nothing is too much trouble for him.

I would like to nominate Simon for colleague of the year.  Simon is a valued member of the team, always going out of his way to be there for colleagues both with his knowledge of the role and life experience. Most importantly, Simon has been a huge contributor to driving forward with the Matrix Accreditation and assessment.  Simon has used his experience and knowledge to develop the guidance, provided 2nd opinions and really sharpened the minds and been a great sounding board.

I would like to nominate Simon, what a legend he is, he embodies our culture and values to the core, and I don’t know what we would do without him!
