Hire an independent organisation to review or approve risk assessment decisions

Obtain support from a specialist organisation to review and approve risk assessment decisions for applicants with convictions, providing additional confidence and security for your HR team.

  3. Reduced legal risks associated with hiring decisions.

How would Offploy do it?

  • There are organisations that can help create and review a risk assessment plan. You may choose to reduce the need for training your own staff by using a specialist third-party organisation which has expertise in undertaking initial role risk assessments and also in taking and handling sensitive disclosures and then risk assessing the candidate against the role.

  • Offploy has a dedicated Employer Services Team who can help you and your staff with risk assessments. We are happy to discuss roles with you, what risks you may be able to mitigate internally and what levels of DBS check are needed to ensure that you are hiring safely and appropriately. We can then also help you with the risk assessment of individual candidates against those roles.
