Speaking to employers who have already hired individuals with convictions can provide valuable insights and best practices for your own hiring process. They can share their experiences and help you learn from their successes and challenges.

What does success look like?

  2. Identify potential challenges and opportunities that you may encounter during the hiring process

  5. Increase confidence in your ability to recruit and retain individuals with convictions, leading to a more diverse and inclusive workforce.

How would Offploy do it?

  • Identify companies that have a similar industry or company size as yours and have already hired individuals with convictions. Follow organisations doing great stuff in this space

  • Reach out to those companies and request to speak to their HR or CSR manager to learn about their hiring process

  • Ask specific questions about their experience with hiring individuals with convictions, including any challenges or successes they have encountered

  • Seek feedback on their policies and procedures, and identify any areas for improvement

  • Take notes and ask for any additional resources or guidance that they can provide

  • Consider joining relevant networks or forums to connect with employers who have similar experiences and are willing to share their knowledge and expertise.
