Our ability to deliver over £12 million in measurable and social value
The positive effect on families, communities and the wider general public
How tools like the Disclosure Toolkit have impacted our work
From Barriers to Breakthroughs
"Thank you for changing my entire outlook on my future." This message from one of our candidates captures what £12,095,126 in social value truly means.
In 2024, Offploy supported 955 individuals, who faced barriers to employment but were determined to build better lives. Our second annual impact report, validated by the Ministry of Justice, reveals a powerful truth: when people with convictions receive proper support, everyone benefits.
For every £1 invested in our programmes, £14.13 of social value is created.

From Conviction to Community
Building Safer StreetsÂ
"55 fewer offences were committed per 100 people supported by Offploy. This is compelling evidence that when people are supported into employment, housing, and stable lives, the benefits are far-reaching." - David Gauke, Offploy Patron
The Ministry of Justice data confirms what we've long believed: proper support transforms lives and creates safer communities. With Offploy participants reoffending at just 25% compared to the national average of 30%, the impact is clear.
More Than NumbersÂ
But statistics only tell part of the story. One candidate explained: "The support was more effective than counselling, it was real, practical, and felt personal."
This year, 760 candidates developed a more positive mindset, 622 strengthened family relationships, and 81 moved into secure accommodation. Each represents a life rebuilt, a family reunited, and a future reclaimed.
Breaking Down Barriers, Building Up Business
"Employers often come to us asking how to hire people with convictions but don't know where to start."
That's why Offploy's impact extends beyond individual support. In 2024, we trained 1,280 frontline advisers, partnered with 50+ employers, and launched the innovative Disclosure Calculator.Â
What makes this possible? 70% of our team have lived experience of the criminal justice system.
As Offploy CEO Jacob Hill reflects: "Social impact should be a mirror, reflecting not only what we've achieved, but where we must grow."
