We are thrilled to announce that Offploy has been commissioned by the Police, Fire and Crime Commissioner for Staffordshire to deliver a new Countywide Floating Housing Support Service for People with Convictions. This landmark contract signals not only a vote of confidence in our work but also a critical step forward in reducing reoffending and building safer communities.

The newly commissioned service is designed to support adults across Staffordshire and Stoke-on-Trent who have criminal convictions and are experiencing homelessness or facing housing insecurity. Our mission is to provide personalised, trauma-informed support that empowers individuals to obtain and sustain accommodation—laying the foundation for a stable, crime-free life in the community.
Ben Adams, Staffordshire PCC stated:
“We’re delighted to commission Offploy to deliver the Staffordshire Countywide Floating Housing Support Service for Offenders. Their personalised, trauma-informed approach - focused on helping offenders to secure appropriate housing in the community as part of a planned programme of reintegration and resettlement - is about more than just accommodation; it’s about helping individuals overcome complex barriers and build the stability needed to move forward with their lives in a meaningful way and avoid the risk of further offending and as such aligns closely with our commitment to reducing reoffending and supporting safer communities .”
This commission is a reflection of our unwavering belief in the power of tailored, trauma-informed support. At Offploy, we meet people where they are and walk beside them as they rebuild their lives.
Joe Prest, Operations Director at Offploy, commented:
“This opportunity with Staffordshire is not just a contract, it’s a chance to change lives. We know that safe, secure housing is the bedrock of rehabilitation. Our team, many of whom bring lived experience, will provide wraparound support that addresses housing, wellbeing, and the barriers that so often keep people stuck. We’re proud to be bringing this mission to Staffordshire and Stoke-on-Trent.”
At Offploy, we believe that everyone deserves the opportunity to start again. Housing is not just a roof over one’s head, it’s the cornerstone of personal transformation. Without stable accommodation, all other aspects of rehabilitation are undermined. This new service enables us to walk alongside individuals, helping them take critical steps towards independence, employment, and reconnection with their communities.
This contract is a testament to the incredible work of our team and the transformative journeys of the people we support. We are honoured to extend our impact across Staffordshire and Stoke-on-Trent, walking alongside individuals as they navigate the path from instability to empowerment.
