Boosting Emotional Wellbeing: Offploy's SWEMWBS Survey Results Unveiled

The SWEMWBS Results Are In!

Recently, we went through our SWEMWBS survey data and were ecstatic to find that we're genuinely making a difference in people's lives, not only in terms of goals achieved but also in improving emotional wellbeing.

What is SWEMWBS and Why Does Offploy Use It?

SWEMWBS (Short Warwick-Edinburgh Mental Well-being Scale) is a widely recognised and validated tool for measuring mental wellbeing. It consists of 7 questions, each focusing on different aspects of emotional wellbeing. The survey helps organisations like Offploy monitor the mental wellbeing of their beneficiaries and measure the impact of their services.

At Offploy, we use the SWEMWBS survey to track the progress of our candidates and ensure that our support not only helps them achieve their goals but also contributes positively to their emotional wellbeing. By measuring the effectiveness of our service, we can continuously improve our approach, tailor our support, and ensure we deliver the best possible outcomes for our candidates.

Emotional Wellbeing Improvements

The emotional wellbeing of our candidates has increased by +4.63 points on average, demonstrating that our Social Employment Advisors, backed by a fantastic support team and a sophisticated tech system, truly form the core of our service. This data shows why we have such excellent retention rates on our programmes.

Digging Deeper into the Data

While these results are fantastic, we want to explore the data even further by: Monitoring the data as the sample size grows Examining the data based on factors like length of time in service and cohort demographics Investigating how much our service contributes to changes in SWEMWBS scores compared to other support services Assessing the societal social value of these improvements according to the HM Treasury Green Book.

"Seeing the positive impact we're making through our SWEMWBS survey results is both heartwarming and inspiring. While it's not surprising, it's a testament to the hard work and dedication of our entire team at Offploy. Together, we continue to make a difference in the lives of our candidates." Bhav Gokani, Service Manager at Offploy
