Offploy is proud to announce a major milestone in our digital development that will help us scale and modernise our operations over the next few years.
By applying to Digital Enterprise, Offploy secured £23,911 from the UK Government through the UK Shared Prosperity Fund (UKSPF).
Delivered via the Digital Enterprise programme and the West Yorkshire Combined Authority (WYCA), this investment is set to strengthen our mission to help individuals with criminal convictions transform their lives through employment.
This funding allows us to make significant upgrades to the way we deliver our services, increasing our capacity, improving efficiency, and reaching individuals we haven’t previously been able to support. It’s not just a tech upgrade. It’s a commitment to deeper impact, smarter systems, and a future where inclusive hiring becomes the norm.
Made Possible by Our Visionary Partners
This achievement wouldn’t be possible without the support of:
The UK Government, via the UK Shared Prosperity Fund, a national initiative aimed at improving pride in place, life chances, and local business support.
Digital Enterprise, a regional business support programme helping West Yorkshire SMEs grow through technology and innovation.
West Yorkshire Combined Authority (WYCA), acting as Lead Authority for the delivery of UKSPF in the region.
Each organisation has played a vital role in enabling Offploy to build the systems we need to serve more people, more effectively. We're grateful not only for the funding, but also for the trust and belief in our mission.
Turning Funding Into Real-World Impact
The funding, which will cover 45% of our total project cost, is being used to completely modernise our Salesforce-based Case Management System (CMS). This tool is at the heart of how Offploy supports individuals with convictions, tracks progress, and measures impact. With the upgrade, we’ve introduced:
Streamlined service delivery
The new CMS will dramatically cut down the time our colleagues spend on admin, from 16 hours to just 30 minutes per candidate. This frees up valuable time to provide personalised, one-on-one support, ultimately improving outcomes for both candidates and the employers we work with.
Broader reach through AI and automation
We're also expanding access through the launch of a website chatbot, allowing us to share guidance with individuals even when we’re not directly funded to support them. In addition, new AI tools will assist with disclosure letter writing and case notes, enabling our team to focus even more on personalised support and frontline impact.
As a result, Offploy will now be able to support 1,500 people per year, 500 more than before, and indirectly reach many more.
Built for the future
We’ve also strengthened our document and communications systems, added secure e-signature tools, and improved our live performance dashboards. These upgrades will help us deliver contracts more efficiently, ensure data compliance, and demonstrate our impact with greater clarity.
Driving Our Mission Further
Offploy’s mission has always been clear: to support disadvantaged individuals, particularly those with criminal convictions, in overcoming personal barriers and securing meaningful employment. This investment in technology helps us achieve that mission faster and at greater scale.
By modernising our systems and expanding our digital capabilities, we’re not only supporting more individuals, we’re also creating more efficient pathways for employers to recruit inclusively, helping reduce reoffending across the UK.
Leading the Way in Third-Sector Innovation
In today’s social landscape, tech isn’t optional, it’s essential. Third-sector organisations need to scale impact, demonstrate outcomes, and adapt quickly to changing needs. Offploy’s transformation shows what’s possible when public investment meets purposeful innovation.
From smarter data insights to national-ready infrastructure, we’re proving that digital tools can dramatically enhance the delivery of person-centred support, not replace it.
Let’s Go Further, Together
We’re deeply thankful to the UK Government, Digital Enterprise, and West Yorkshire Combined Authority for their support. Their belief in our work allows us to do more, reach further, and continue driving positive change.
Digital Enterprise is funded by the UK Government through the UK Shared Prosperity Fund.
The UKSPF is led by the Ministry of Housing, Communities & Local Government (MHCLG). Digital Enterprise is being delivered in partnership with the West Yorkshire Combined Authority, acting as Lead Authority for the Funds.
